Salary: $17.47 per hour
Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday

Daily Duties:
- Arrive each day on time, with a positive attitude
- Sign in and out every day
- Greet all parents and children upon arrival to the center and classroom
- Responsible for providing assistant teachers, aides, and interns with mentoring and positive guidance on a daily basis
- Responsible for daily planning and execution of all classroom and outdoor activities.
- Responsible for the health, safety, and well being of all children in your assigned group.
- Responsible for establishing appropriate bathroom/ diaper changing routines, as needed
- Responsible for establishing appropriate mealtime routines including participating in family style dining
- Responsible for maintaining all records and required paperwork
- Responsible for keeping the classroom environment neat and organized
- Responsible for creating a schedule for cleaning and sanitizing jobs and performing those duties as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Periodic Duties:
- Be available for parent conferences , as needed
- Attend all staff meetings
- Complete mandatory staff training as required by OCFS
- Update Aspire as needed
- Attend center functions as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a CDA, Associates Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Must enjoy and have experience supervising young children
- Must be able to relate to and respect parents from all socio-economic backgrounds
- Must be in good physical and mental health
- Must be able to list at least 40 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with all administrative, teaching, and kitchen staff.
